magnifying glassHow do I find items housed in the library? The library uses the Dewey Decimal System to assign a unique call number to every book, DVD, and other media in the building.

The library's collection spans all three floors of the building and is arranged numerically by call number.

For assistance finding items, ask at the InfoDesk on the first floor of Smith Library Center (SLC).

 

  • 000 - 199 First Floor (behind Periodicals)
  • 200 - 779.999 Second Floor
  • 780 - 999 Third Floor

What about finding digital materials like eBooks, films, or articles?

Accessing electronic materials is easy --- search our online catalog, WorldCat@SU, or any of the databases with full text and you'll be able to click and view the content.
