Research questions from SU Students
- Books and Articles mostly, but also and Primary Sources (though these make be tricky). I will be researching the use of illusion and realism in Tudor Era portraiture, focusing mainly on Queen Elizabeth I and King Henry VIII, but also touching on Queen Mary I and King Edward VI for comparison. Physical descriptions of the monarchs would be very helpful. I want to look in to the difference of gender depiction when it comes to rulers.
- Tropospheric Ozone Climatology of the US Gulf Coast
- I need any academic sources (books/journals/articles/etc) pertaining to my capstone topic: television fandoms (ie fan bases of television shows) as religion. Sources that talk about pop culture as religion or sports as religion will also be helpful. Specifically within religion, I hope to focus on fandoms as ritual and on religious pilgrimage in fandoms.
- Issues students (middle school) face in learning a language other than English. Need several articles less than 10 years old.
- I need a source about Neuschwanstein Castle and/or Caernarfon Castle that describes architectural detail rather than only historical detail.
- I am researching internet piracy, the difference between downloading and streaming movies and music. I need primary sources, articles, books and secondary sources. I cannot have any internet website sources.
- We need to find an academic journal, 6 newspaper articles: 2 from Europe, 2 from China, 2 from America and I need to find one book review on how other countries view America as an empire.
- Primary sources from fifteenth and sixteenth century Spain (especially Cordoba) regarding conversos and Muslims staying in Spain after the Reconquista.

- Why the role that women played within Mexican culture changed during the Mexican Revolution? I'm looking for ten scholarly or primary sources.
- 60s fashion and early 70s and history during this time period
- Articles/data about specific immigration numbers of the Hispanic population to the United States since 1990.
- This is a French history class, and the paper I am preparing that is due in May encompasses a topic that is about "the effects of nationalism on France during WWI", so I plan to look at the population, soldiers, and commanders to see how this idea effected their feelings about the war. So to do this, I need letters from soldiers, generals, and newspaper articles as well as primary sources.
- Historical reason for the Apocrypha Books to be removed from the Protestant Bible. Why were the books removed? Books, Articles, primary sources if there are any.
- I am researching the history of lemons (as a commodity) starting in the 1450s with the Spanish Empire and tracing it transnationally to the New World. - My research topic is on criminality and gangs in Britain after WW1. I am looking for primary sources like newspapers, police records ect from about 1919 to 1930.
- I'm interested in researching how a person's social identity can change and expand over time. I want to study how joining a group can cause one to feel a strong group affiliation, and make them feel even more connected to one identity than another, even if they have identified with the second identity much longer.
- How the Navajo sacred mountains play a role in Navajo culture and influence their daily practices.
- I would like to write about new technology that can hopefully help us create food accessibility for all people sustainably. Some of the things I would like to research would be about packaging made from non plastic and sustainable materials, or any type of food that doesn't take a ton of carbon dioxide to produce. I need primary sources, and possibly things from academic journals.

- I'm doing a literature review for my class and i have to put together at least 10 sources to connect the kinematics of a lacrosse shot and compare them to the kinematics in a baseball throw.
