SciFinder is a research tool that allows you to explore the CAS abstract database containing literature from many scientific disciplines, including biomedical sciences, chemistry, materials science, etc.
To create a SciFinder account, you must be on campus and you need to get the special URL to register for SciFinder from a librarian. Like Gandalf famously said, you shall not pass, without the URL.
Once you get the URL from a librarian, you will be able to register. After you've created an account, you are free to access SciFinder from anywhere.
