Do not sign up for an appointment and expect to finish creating your poster during that time. Before coming to the InfoDesk to print your poster you must:

  • Create the poster and save the file as a PDF.
    • Format your file on your computer for the dimensions that you want the poster printed. If you design the poster on an 8.5” x 11” slide and print it out on 36” paper, it will not look good.
    • Make sure the overall content and format is exactly how you want it before printing. The InfoDesk staff will not proofread or edit your poster, but will print it as is.

When you arrive at the InfoDesk to print your poster you must have:

  • Your file ready for printing on a flash drive.
  • The department account number (if you’re charging printing to a department). This number must be submitted with each individual appointment request. The InfoDesk staff does not retain account numbers for departments.
  • You may also choose to pay with Pirate Buc$. Cash and Checks are not accepted. If you are unable to pay, your poster will be held at the desk until payment is made.

Arrive on time for your reservation! If you arrive 15 minutes past your scheduled time you might not be able to print if it infringes on the next person's time slot. If you arrive earlier than your scheduled time and the printer is available, you might be able to start sooner.
