Searching for Information
Think about keywords related to epidemics in general, or a specific issue or event, to start your search in the library's WorldCat catalog.
When you find a good item, open the Description section of the record to find more publications on the topic using the Subject Headings. Clicking on a Subject Heading will take you to a list of all the other books in the catalog that have been classified under that subject.
Try some of these subject headings related to specific causes in WorldCat:
epidemics | opiods | plague | yellow fever | emerging infectious diseases | diseases and history | epidemiology | pubic health
You should always search the name of any specific disease or plague that you are researching.
