SUeID Account Setup

Your SUeID is your digital identity.  It gives you access to online services at Southwestern. It also serves as your user account for all lab and classroom computers and wireless. Lastly, your SUeID forms your e-mail address: SUeID@southwestern.edu.

 

Account Setup

Faculty and Staff

  • All SUeIDs are created by IT.  A new employee must sign their employment contract AND the faculty/staff directory information screen must be up-to-date before IT can create the user account. The directory information screen is maintained by either Human Resources (Staff) or the Provost Office (Faculty).

  • A department chair or supervisor can request the creation of an SUeID in advance of start date, as long as the directory information screen is complete.

Students

  • SUeIDs for students are created by notification from Admissions or the Center for Academic Success.  For questions, please call (512) 863-1401.

  • IT cannot create a student account without this notification.
