Guide to library resources

Turabian / Chicago Style

For this class, use the Turabian notes-bibliography style. Copies of the newest (8th) edition of "Turabian" can be found on Reserve at the InfoDesk and in the reference collection in the Research Commons. You can also refer to this online Turabian Quick Guide, but it may not answer all the questions you will have about citations, especially for primary sources.

Organization & Citation Management Tools

My EBSCOhost is a personalized account that lets you save and organize your research within the EBSCO databases. EasyBib is a citation tool you can add to GoogleDocs simply by selecting it as an "Add-on." Another great tool is Zotero.

TIP: When using citation tools, you must check the citations with a relevant Style Guide because they do make mistakes, such as not formatting correctly or exporting the information incorrectly.
